Why must yo...Are you in total denial Mr. Chantrill? Why must you be so radical? Do you truly believe your fantasies of the utopia free market will just come to be whence 'government' is abolished?

You must be blind to not see where the true force is coming from. Money is power. And it is dictating the action of the only institutional creation that could create a "competitive" setting for business and culture to thrive. Do you not see the influence of insurance companies and big banks?? I do not think of your writing as childish, but self misleading.

No "liberal" wants big government to take all their money, or that transforms itself into a dictatorship. But many of them do not live in this fantasy of yours that civil-servants are mostly cynical and evil and government only serves to "taking". Have you ever heard of University of California? U.S. Army? Internet? Highway system? What kind of "private" institution (serving its shareholders and profit maximization as first and foremost) would have created and kept such benefits for the greater public as primary objectives? You are old. It's about time to get real.

What do you think income distribution would end up being with minimum or no "government" regulation? Paradise?? lol. Do you think monopolies would start "giving" to the people? What about "religion"... So is the "christian ethic" better than the "confucian ethic" or the "hindi ethic"?

You are such an international person, it's quite surprising to see your narrow minded comments. Your idea of good is understandable, but it's radical utopia, and cannot be reached through the abolition of government. What must be instated is a governemtn that works for justice and respect. This must be restored.

Tell me of a successfull country in this present world that has a solely private health care or solely private education system. Or for that matter, private regulatory institutions...

NicNicnoreply@blogger.com
